Do I need to create an account to book online?

Yes. You will need to fill out a simple profile when you sign up online. From there you can manage your bookings. If you are not comfortable booking online you can always give us a call and we can book you in.

Do I need a referral to book an appointment?

You do not require a referral to book an appointment to see a chiropractor or massage therapist.

I just injured myself and I am swollen? Should I wait to come in?

In most cases you shouldn't wait.  Getting a prompt evaluation and diagnosis is important.  Early treatment eases swelling more quickly and allows for faster healing.

I have recently been in a car accident, do you take Motor Vehicle Accidents?

A large part of our practice is treating motor vehicle accident injuries.

Do you treat pregnant women and small children?

We do.  We've been treating pregnant women successfully for many years.  We help children with musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries and maintaining spinal health/wellness visits.

What is ART?

ART stands for Active Release Technique.  This technique requires intensive training to become certified.  It is the most effective soft tissue system used around the world.

Is your massage therapist certified so I can claim through my insurance?

Our massage therapist has received the 2200 hour certification which allows you to claim massage through your insurance.

Do you do cupping?

Our massage therapist does dynamic cupping as part of her treatment.

What is shockwave?

Shockwave is a sound wave used to treat soft tissue injuries.  We use it to speed up the healing of soft tissues like tendons, ligaments and nerves that usually require a lot of time to heal.  Some of these tissues can take up to 3 months to heal but with shockwave it now takes only weeks.  

Are there extra charges for any of your services?

Shockwave and Kinesio taping are an extra charge.  Both of these treatments require advanced knowledge and expertise. The rest of our treatments are included in the cost of your appointment.

Do you sell orthotics?

Yes we do! We do both an extensive evaluation to see if orthotics would benefit your condition, as well as cast for the orthotics in office.

Do you treat soft tissue injuries?

We have received advanced training in the treatment of soft tissue injuries.

I’ve just had surgery. How long do I have to wait to be treated?

If you're being treated in another region, away from your surgical region, you can be seen anytime.  We can accommodate you by treating you in various positions that do not cause pain. If you wish to be treated in the same region of your surgery, we usually wait until the sutures have been removed from your skin.

In cases such as oral surgery, nose jobs and face-lifts, you can be treated closely to your pain without disturbing sutures and speeding your healing.
